INTRODUCTION

Welcome to my adventure blog!

My name is Gabriel Bier.  I am NOT the actor with the same name. 

I am pretty sure the famous actor lives a more ‘alternative’ lifestyle than I do.  I’m ‘straight’ if that gets the difference across.  I could also say that I am not rich, but that statement may lack context.

I am actually quite boring in many respects.  I don’t do raves, clubs, etc.  I quietly fear that I have yet to become the man God wanted me to be.

For those of you who don’t know me, I am a photographer and an extreme adventurer.  I like doing things that others consider insane.

While I am a risk-taker, I am not foolhardy.

I chronicle my adventures in this public, but also semi-private forum.  I have a background in web-design, public relations and graphic design.  I am available for hire, but only for projects in which I truly believe.  

I love to be outside, especially in places that make me feel “small.”  

Unfortunately, I also have to work to pay the bills.   At least I was lucky to find a job that I love.  With any luck, someday I will be able to live from my savings and accomplishments.  Unfortunately, that time is a few years down the road.
